The Metsudah Chumash (ver 2.1) New Instruction Manual - Click Here
Our most popular product is a set of 3 computer cd’s containing the entire Chumash, Rashi, and linear translations of both for use on an IBM-compatible home computer. This is the only software in the world which gives a blind or visually impaired user instant and full access to the entire Torah. Users hear a verse and can then choose to hear the next verse, hear the Rashi on that verse, skip to a different parsha, hear the translation, or do just about anything someone with the printed volume can do. There are close to 50 navigational features including bookmarks, searches for special events, name searches, word searches, perek and posuk zoom, auto play controls, and much much more. CSB has tested and retested the software to produce a reliable chavrusa for someone thirsting to learn Chumash. The software can be controlled by the keyboard, by voice commands (through a special headset CSB provides), and through specialty devices for physically handicapped individuals. All of these abilities have been pre-programmed into the software and have been tested at CSB. Currently, the CSB Chumash is being used by hundreds of users in America, Canada, Israel, England, Australia, and Holland. Users of the Chumash range in age from 7 to 87 from school children to Holocaust survivors. Best of all, this software, installation (in the NY area), and training are provided free of charge to eligible users. Contact us at 718-234-6476 if you are blind, visually impaired, physically handicapped, or disabled in some way that prevents you from learning Torah in standard print, or if you know a person who is in this situation. |
